Interactively documenting value (weekending 10122010)

As the end of term beckons we look forward to events in the new year, not least our panel session at the MeCCSA conference in January. We are also delighted to have received a large number of applications for the i-docs symposium, scheduled for 25 March, and we look forward to announcing a programme for the event in due course.

However, before we get to 2011 - in fact in the coming week - we have some interesting events and activities to which we can look forward. On 17th December Jon Dovey and Constance Fleuriot will be giving a talk on preliminary findings from our Knowledge Transfer Project. The talk is lunchtime event at the Pervasive Media Studio - all are welcome to attend, please see the event page. Also, next Tuesday, 14th December, some of our Masters students will be trying out a prototype pervasive game, based on Solitaire, as a part of a postgraduate review of the term.

Finally, as we go through periodic reviews of the progress of individual projects we have been updating our documentation of the work currently being undertaken by DCRC researchers. Please take the opportunity to read through our project pages for uptodate information on our range of research activities. Recent highlights include: Tom Abba's Archiving Digital Narratives activities, Tine Bech's Catch Me Now and Charlotte Croft's context-aware heritage project with the Curzon cinema. We are also in the process of uploading a new range of publications - so please visit the publications section to view our more recent additions.
