 Video > Postdigital Encounters 2011

The University of the West of England, Bristol, through the DCRC, hosted the 2011 Journal of Media Practice symposium, which was convened by DCRC researcher Charlotte Crofts. Postdigital Encounters explored how digital technologies have redefined creativity and media practice within the academy both in terms of teaching and research, with a dynamic programme of presentations ranging from a QR code workshop, multiscreen film practice and locative media projects to discussions of creativity and pedagogy in the 'postdigital' age.

 Keeping in Touch with Connected DCRC (weekending 18112011)

The week ending on Friday 18th was an interesting cross section of DCRC activity. We held two events related to of our Connected Communities projects, concerning community use of digital media and the kinds of value produced in the Pervasive Media Studio network.
