Liz is a Research Fellow based in the Creative Economies Lab, working on Bristol+Bath Creative R+D Cluster, My World and South West Creative Technology Network. She researches the role of universities in regional innovation, knowledge exchange, and creative placemaking, opportunities for R&D in the creative sector to reflect diverse economies and inclusive, sustainable futures. Liz is a cultural geographer who has worked at the intersection of social science and arts and humanities across a range of interdisciplinary projects. Her research centred around cultural industries and digital policy, visual and creative methods, science communication and climate change, resilience and wellbeing, and storytelling. Liz’s recent book project explored how creative approaches might engender a creative water ethics leading to more equitable and resilient approaches to water management.
