Melissa Blackburn works as a Knowledge Exchange Manager in DCRC and the Creative Economies Lab supporting academics, artists and creative technologists to do more of what they love. Currently working on My World, she was KE Manager + Producer on the South West Creative Technology Network (SWCTN), which supported creative technologists across the South West, and ran their Data fellowship. Her background is in filmmaking and human rights; she spent 10 years working as a documentary filmmaker specialising in oral history, worked in feature film development and spent three years as CEO of a national modern slavery charity.
