Games engines: Optimising VFX, shaping visual media

With experimental work with emerging production technologies such as Game Engines, Virtual Production and In Camera VFX gathering momentum at The Bridge and in Immersive Arts, this consideration of the relationship between lens-mediated imagery and graphics rendered in real time considers whether or not the epistemological assumptions of photographic visual media need to be re-assessed.
