Jack Lowe is a Research Associate based in the Creative Economies Lab, where he is working on researching and evaluating the Bristol+Bath Creative R+D programme.
Jack is a cultural geographer and digital media artist, whose interdisciplinary research and creative practice has explored how people engage with place through playful, site-specific, experimental and/or immersive media forms.
During his doctoral research, Jack was an expert consultant for StoryFutures – a fellow programme to Bristol+Bath within the AHRC’s Creative Industries Clusters Programme – working with creative SMEs to share insights on game design, place and environment in digital narrative experiences.
Jack is an active member of the Digital Geographies Research Group of the Royal Geographical Society (with Institute of British Geographers), where he is also an Associate Fellow.
